Camp

Every year the 1st Malvern BB Company has a week long camp around the UK. We generally join with other companies from the Gloucestershire Battalion of which we are a member Company, but have camped as a Company on our own.  

The summer camp is always immensely popular with the boys and officers alike. It is often at a seaside location like Swanage, Exmouth, Tenby or the Isle of Wight.

As well as various sports tournaments and other camp activities, supervised off-site activities and trips to local attractions are organized, such as paint balling, abseiling, a cinema trip, swimming trips, speedway etc.

 Camp 2023 was held at Looe in Cornwall.

8 Boys from the Company joined others from the Gloucester Battalion in 2016 - our 2 Tent Commanders were Russell and Henry. This year we won both the T.A. Worley Trophy for the first time since 2004 and the Challenger Trophy for the second year in a row.
